Innocent Until Executed

Filed under: Uncategorized — Mr. Ayers @ 8:46 pm

Dahlia Lithwick also recently wrote in her Newsweek article “Innocent Until Executed” about a recent Supreme Court decision with big civil liberties implications.  People on death row do not have a Constitutional right to DNA evidence that could prove their innocence.  What do you think of the Court’s reasoning?

  1. I disagree with the court’s reasoning because what if the person being tried is innocent, they will die for a crime they did not committ, however if the person is put on death row on the first place, does that mean that they have already been proven guilty?
