Some of the prombles our country faces now is. our taxes. and also gas prices.last but not least is.our ecomney and money drops.
He would do bad things to the nation.
Blue 4: Some problems our country faces today include: lack of oil in the US(buying oil from other countries), bad economy; decrease in stock market, and a great ammount of polution.
*3. Some changes to our country that I would recommend to the new president would be to try to lower the number of illegal immigrants. Also I would recommend that he not bring the troops home from Iraq because if they come home and stop fighting then the enemies will follow us and kill us.
3*- One major change to our country I would recommend to Obama is to stop the war in Iraq. The United States has been sending troops over there for five or six years now and that hasn’t helped them or us very much. We have been wasting time and money in the war.
Some of the problems we face are that there are to many race problems like with mexicans blacks, and white people. Also there is too much damage to the economy like with the stocks and banks, they are running out of funds also to many people are losing their jobs. Businesses are going down so people can`t find jobs. People can`t pay for their bills and their house goes for forcloser. For number four star question, I would handle it by working a lot on the economy by trying to get cars that don`t run on gas also by giving more money to the people effected by it so that they don`t lose their houses. The banks are losing too much money and we need to start helping them out even though there`s not that much money. They get our tax dollars so they must have enough save up. They should stop worrying about little things and spending money billions of dollars and things like that. Also schools should not have to deal with terrible equipment like worn out books and terrible overheads. I think the government should give more money to them so they don`t have to worry about little things like that.
I think that the election of Barack obama is a good thing because when he says something important, i think he has a positive voice and he has a serious face like he knows it will happen. He wants to try to bring the troops back home from iraq,and he knows the economy needs to be changed, he is telling us what needs to be done and what will be done
*1. I think the value of our celebration for the inauguration on a scale from 1 – 10 it would be a 6. We should do something a little more like give out cupcakes with sprinkles that make out the letter “B” on it because it would be a “B” for Barack Obama. You could also play some inaugural games and it would be a perfect 10.

I personally think that the election of Barack Obama is a bad thing for America. I think this because he has already closed many things. Also people of different races might go crazy and try to assassinate Barack Obama.
*2.answer- I think Obama is a good thing (from what he says) because he wants to help the economy, health care, and the war in Iraq. I think those are good choices because that’s what the Country mainly needs. Also the country will be better if he does what he says he’ll do.
2.answer- If McCain was president I think that our coutry wouldn’t change much; I think he would keep the war going and keep sending troops out. I also think that he wouldn’t gave as many goals that our country needs. He also might not take action in what he says he would, which would make our country angry.
Barack H. Obama is our first african-american president and our 44th president. He and his wife both graduated from Harvard. Even if we didn’t vote for him we will honor our president.: )
*3. Some changes I would recommend are to put new eqiptment in all schools because some of the older schools don’t have all the new stuff to make kids healthy.
2. Some things may have been different because Jonh McCain wouldn’t be able to relate to some American’s problems like Barak Obama can.
*2 answer- Having Barack Obama as president is a good and bad thing, but mostly bad. Barack Obama used to hate America. Although he looks and sounds like a good leader, he could be planning. Obama could possibly be trying to hurt our country. However, his “plans” aren’t the only thing I’m worried about. With a “black man” as president, racism could change. It could improve, or get worse.
4 answer- Besides racism, which I constantly adress, there are 2 problems our country STILL faces. First is the economy. The governtment continues to bail out companies using tax money. But, they don’t bail out everyone. Circuit City went bankrupt, and now they’re going out of buisiness. They’re having a sale now, so if you want a cheap flatscreen, go to Circuit City, I got one. The second problem we STILL face is global warming and the environtment. With the economy in the toilet, no one is really paying attention. Before the economy shrunk, the environment was really focused on. If you help save the env ironment, you can save money, and save the economy. IT’S A CHAIN REACTION THAT COUD, AND WOULD SAVE OUR COUNTRY! I thank Ford fro paying attention.
*2.)I think President Obama is a good thing because he wants to bring change to the U.S.A. If Obama succeeds in what he says he willl make America a better place. I think people will be able to look up to him for help.

I think the election of Barack Obama is good. I believe it’s good because maybe people will learn not to judge by the race you are but, from the person you are. i also think it’s good because we have gone from, “i have a dream.” from Martin L. King Jr. to having an African American president.
Some of the problems are country now faces is that we have our first african american president that may want t make different choices in our country. Also and tax prices are very high and people are loosing money.
I would recommend for Barack to stop sending American troops to Iraq to help them because they obviously do not want our help.
We are facing the terrorist that have been killing many people with explosions.

My opinion of Obama is ok but i am not trying to be mean but I liked the other president better.

He was senator of illinoi, where he lives from 2005 to 2008

#4- I think some promblems that are country is facing is the gas is still high when the oil is low now oil is going up and gas will be gone up.Also people are loosing there jobs. Lot of big stores are closing and alot of people have no where to go. People are not bying cars because gas has gone up.

If John McCain was elected as president I think he would have done things differently because not evertoneis the same and everyone does things their own way and I personally think that John McCain would have made good decisions as a president.

If i was president then i would first make more jobs for people that has lost them then i would make the cost of taxes less i would also use money for the country wisely i would also try to make alliances with other countries and stop wars that has been going on.

1. The difference between Obama and Bush is that Obama wants to encourage change in how the goverment acts toward a crisis. Obama wants to move troops from Iraq and Bush wants to control Iraq with the troops when it is more pressing in Afganastan. The most sinificant difference is that Obama wants change and Bush wanted to continue with the current idea.

Star#4 If I was president I would do my best to solve all the problems listed above by making world peace by banning harming another person with a gun or bullet, create a trash powered car that is environ mental friendly, lower taxes, help the economy and lower gas prices.
*4- First, I don’t want to be president. Being president makes me a big target. I don’t want to die from something stupid, like being assasinated. Even though I can’t handle the job, I would handle it maturely and seriously. Though I would always have a pit of worry (and possibly regret) deep down inside.

Also I think our president should help change poverty people need to have money for food and they need jobs to get it, but every day people are losing homes and I don’t think it’s right. Also right now a big problem is healthcare, I might not have to worry about it but other people do.
My answer was blue4. Our country is facing two wars one is in Isreal, which might cause a third world war (hopefully not). There’s a war in Iraq. We are fighting terrorists. The president hopes to get the troops out of Iraq by 2013.

Barack Obama is the new president and I think he has good ideas. So far he has proved that he will be a great president. He wants to take the troops out as fast as possible.

I think our celebration was good because we actually got more than I expected. We got to take time out of the school day to be able to watch the inauguration. We even got to take a picture with Barack Obama:).

#4- The problems with our country now are obviously the economy is really bad, our enviornment, and education. Our economy is down the toilet. prices are WAY too high and people are losing jobs every day. Following up on prices college tuition is expensive. the enviornment is bad. Global warming is back and habitats are disappearing.
If i was president I would first give money to the people that don;t have enough to pay of there bilss, then second i would make homeless people be treated like friends, then trird i would give homeless people a house with food.
If I were president of the United States I would end the Iraq war and then fix the economy.
*4. If I was president of the United States everything would be different. The gas price would go down. The homeless people would live on the streets would have a place to live.I would solve these things by fixing the economy.

Also I am not sure what I would do about our failing economy, but I would do something about it! I think the stimulus idea might work so mabye I would try that idea. 1. We value inauguralation day alot, but a little too much. I know its a big deal that were having a new president, but the ceremony took up about half of washinton D.C.

I think if John Mcain was elected president a lot of the new changes that president Barack Obama has made woud not have been made. This country would have been run a whole different way. We probably would have had a whole different change in gas prices than we probably do now. (Which are pretty low.)
