Poetry is a main part in being president. Poetry means alot to the people so it can help Obama with being president.

    We think poetry is something that people write to inspire other people. The inauguration speech for Barack Obama was said by Elizabeth Alexander. John F Kennedy’s poet was Robert Frost in 1961. Our new President of the United States Barack Obama wrote many poems.

    I think what poetry is some writing that expresses feelings or what they’re thinking about whatever they write. For example, the lady Elizabeth Alexander, the one in the inaugural celebration, expressed her feelings by telling what she wrote for the inaugural celebration. It was pretty long but that’s how she felt. So whenever you write poetry, express how you feel next time:)
