WCPS eNewsletter

Welcome to the new and hopefully improved Wicomico County Public Schools eNewsletter.  I am beginning my fourth year of writing this newsletter for Wicomico County teachers and I am pleased to say that though there have been crazy moments when I felt like I had written about all there is to write about with technology, those moments are short lived.  Every time I think that I have reached a road block all I have to do is look on-line or talk with another teacher to find there is something new and usually better out there waiting for us to find a way to use it in instruction.   It never fails to amaze me how much more there is out there waiting for us to tap into for our students’ benefit. 

After investigating my options for the newsletter this year, I have chosen to use the blog format.  I have blogged with students, and LOVE it as an educational tool.  So, I am excited and interested to use it as a professional tool.  I want to hear feedback from other teachers who are trying to use some of the technologies in their classrooms.  Hopefully this format will engage our teachers in meaningful discussions about how we can integrate technology to best meet the needs of our students.
